Babson Summer Study 2026: Guidance Counselor Form

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Babson Summer Study is a 3 week experiential pre-college program for rising high school juniors and seniors, designed to help them develop an entrepreneurial mindset and become innovators and changemakers. Learn more about the program.   

COST: The program cost for the fully online format of Babson Summer Study is $6,295 USD, plus a $95 USD application fee.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Limited financial assistance in the form of a full or partial scholarship is available for students in the fully online format of Summer Study (not available for the in-person format). Only students with significant financial need will be considered. Financial assistance applicants receive an application fee waiver.

PROCESS: The financial assistance application must be completed by the applicant’s parent or guardian by February 17, 2026. A school official will also be required to complete a form supporting the financial assistance application by February 17, 2026. Financial assistance decisions are sent with application decisions.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW & EXPECTATIONS:

Course Dates: July 8–28, 2026 Time: 8:00–11:00 AM Eastern Time, Monday–Friday

Technology: Laptop with camera and reliable internet are required. You will need a minimum of 200mbps for successful program engagement. Test your internet bandwidth here.

Workload: The course takes place from 8-11 a.m. Eastern Time. In addition to the three hours a day in class, students in all learning formats will spend an additional five hours a day (a total of 25 hours a week) working on out-of-class assignments, both individually and with their team.

Attendance: Attendance is mandatory. This is a 4-credit university-level course condensed into three weeks. Missing one class equals missing a week of a standard course. Missing more than two classes puts a student in danger of failing.
